“It’s bigger than me, it’s Big, period” – Notorious BIG mural VANDALIZED in Brooklyn

August 26 2022 BROOKLYN, New York – Notorious BIG mural in Brooklyn was vandalized.

Police are investigating on St. James Place and Fulton Street in Clinton Hill neighborhood of Brooklyn, where the mural was defaced with black paint splattered on the face, words “East Coast” tagged in red paint.

One resident said, who’s brother-in-law who was a DJ for Notorious B.I.G.

Artist Vince Ballentino, who painted the mural, spoke outside saying “It’s bigger than me, it’s Big, period.” The artist spoke on how he felt saying that he received a phone call saying “come check this out” only to find out that his mural which took him two days to make.

The mural was unveiled in March this year for the 25th anniversary of Notorious BIG death.


According to police, the investigation is ongoing and there is no description of a suspect at this time.
