Subway Rider Stabbed after Attempting To Stop a Person Harrassing Passengers

August 22 2022 MANHATTAN, New York – A 27-year-old subway rider was stabbed in the stomach after confronting a man harassing passengers on a train early Monday morning, police said.

Incident occured on 6th Ave and 49th street on the south bound D train, near Rockafeller train station in Manhattan.

A person stabbed in the stomach on a Manhattan subway was reported trying to stop a man who was harassing passengers, police say.

Victim was taken to a local hospital in a stable condition. No arrests at this time.
