Two People are Dead following a Truck collision with ATV in Queens

August 19 2022 QUEENS, New York – Police say one victim has died on the scene and another was in critical condition after a fatal car collision of a semi-truck and an ATV in Queens on Friday morning.

A large 18-wheeler truck collided with another vehicle, possibly ATV, resulting in multiple injuries, police said.

Crash was reported at approximately 1:30 a.m., on Jackson Avenue and Queens Plaza North in Hunters Point neighborhood in Queens.

Upon arrival police they found two victims who may have been riding a damaged ATV on scene that collided with the 18-wheeler.

One victim was found under the wheels of the truck and was declared dead, a second cictim was rushed to an area hospital in critical condition and was later pronounced dead.
