66-year-old Man Arrested and Charged with 1996 Homicide of Bronx Woman

August 8 2022 Bronx, New York – Police arrested a 66-year-old man and charged him with murder, more than two decades after a Bronx woman’s death.

Cops say that Gregory Fleetwood killed Jasmine Porter, in 1996. Suspect was identified because of advancements in DNA testing, officials said.

Porter, who’s death was deemed a homicide was found by police, unconscious and with trauma to the neck inside of a Davidson Avenue building in the Bronx on Feb. 5, 1996, according to Pix11.

Today, suspect was seen led out of a Bronx detective bureau in handcuffs to an awaiting police vehicle.
