13 People Injured after MTA Bus Crashed into a Pole in the Bronx

August 4 2022 Bronx, New York – Thirteen people have been injured after an MTA bus crashed into a pole in West Farms, Bronx Thursday morning.

Incident occured around 9am on Boston Road and West Farm road in Bronx.

Police say that the bus crashed into a pillar of the Westfarms Square-East Tremont Avenue (2) train.

At least one person is in critical condition, two other sustained serious injuries and 10 people sustained minor injuries due to the crash, officials reported.

Police advise that the driver went into cardiac arrest.

Road is currently blocked as emergency work continues.
