Man Accused of Shooting McDonald’s Worker Over Cold Fries, Confesses to a Separate 2020 Murder

August 03, 2022 | Brooklyn, New York: 20-year-old man has been arrested and charged with attempted murder over “Cold Fries” at Brooklyn McDonald’s where police say he shot a worker who is now in critical condition.

Michael Morgan, from Brooklyn, has been arrested and charged with attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon in the shooting of Matthew Jeremiah Webb, a 23-year-old Fast Food worker at a Brooklyn McDonald’s, police said.

Officials said on August 3rd, that Webb, who was allegedly shot by Morgan over “cold fries”, is still fighting for his life in critical condition at Brookdale Hospital since August 1st, Monday evening.

Police says that 23-year-old McDonald’s worker who was shot over “Cold Fries” Has now Died (August 5th), turning case to homicide.

According to witnesses, Lisa Fulmore, the mother of Michael Morgan, got into a verbal dispute with the fast food workers at the Brownsville McDonald’s over cold French Fries. According to Fulmore, she was laughed at by staff for asking to speak to a manager and was given cold fries twice. Michael, who arrived later, reportedly was told by his mother to leave after he confronted staff in his mothers defense. Lisa Fulmore says that the worker stepped outside of McDonald’s looking for Morgan and at some point worker was shot. Mother said she does not know if her son had a gun.

18-year-old Camellia Dunlap, who is in a relationship with Morgan, was also charged on Tuesday.

Dunlop admitted to NYPD detectives that she produced the firearm used in the shooting and was the one that handed the weapon to Morgan, according to cops. The 18-year-old female was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.

According to police officials, Michael Morgan also confessed to an unrelated murder dating back to a 2020 case that Morgan was already a suspect in.

Michael Morgan was seen Wednesday afternoon, in handcuffs, escorted by detectives out of the 79th precinct to an awaiting jail transport police vehicle. The investigation into both cases remains ongoing.
