74-year-old Woman In Critical Condition after Being Struck by SUV in Bay Terrace Queens

August 01, 2022 | QUEENS, NY: 74-year-old woman is in critical condition after she was struck by an SUV in Queens.

Police say that a 2021 GMC SUV turned into Corporal Kennedy Street from 26th Avenue and struck the 74-year-old victim just before 1p.m on Monday afternoon.

Woman was crossing the street when she was hit by the SUV, causing her to hit the pavement.

SUV driver then struck a 2019 Nissan Sentra, who was stopped at a red light, according to officials.


Police found the 74-year-old victim lying in the crosswalk with severe head trauma. She was taken to local hospital in critical condition.


There were no arrests.
