July 29 2022 Manhattan, New York – Police say they intervined with suspects attempting to rob a club, ending in shootout Friday morning at a Chelsea Club.
According to the police, officers from the Intelligence-Criminal Enterprise Unit were conducting plain clothes enforcement inside of Club Doux located at 59 West 21 Street on Friday night. Police say the club’s bouncer saw a robbery in progress and notified the NYPD unit on scene, at approximately 3:00 a.m. outside of 59 W. 20th St. Near 7th Avenue at Doux Supper Clubin Chelsea part of Manhattan.
Cops say one of the two suspects shot at the police and police returned fire, police did not strike the suspect. No arrests at this time.
