July 18, 2022 | Manhattan, New York: A 32-year-old man was shot at and grazed on the chin by gunfire during an early Monday morning shooting that occurred in Manhattan. Two NYPD officers were also involved in the shooting incident but not injured after a stray bullet hit an unmarked unit that the officers were traveling in while responding to the shooting in Chelsea, police officials said.
According to police, at approximately 12:17 a.m. on July 18 in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan near the intersection of West 22nd Street and 6th Avenue, 13th precinct officers responded to the location where a 32-year-old male was involved in a dispute with an unknown person and was shot at.





The altercation turned violent when a weapon was brandished and discharged by the suspect but only grazing the victim on the chin. The 32-year-old victim was transported by EMS to Bellevue Hospital for a non life-threatening injury , cops said.
At this time there are no arrests and the investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
