July 17, 2022 | MANHATTAN, NY: A firefighter was injured after a vehicle crashed during an FDNY operation on 42nd Street and 11th Avenue in Manhattan. The incident occurred at approximately 3:18pm, FDNY Rescue 1 reported that a member of service was pinned under a vehicle following a two car collision.
EMS was requested for a rush transport to a nearby hospital for the member of service who was injured as a result of the two vehicle collision.
The severity of the injured member is unknown at this time and the investigation into this incident is ongoing.
