July 15, 2022 | BROOKLYN, New York: Two people were shot and one killed outside Staten Island apartment Friday evening.
At approximately 1022pm on July 15, 2022, Police from the 120th precinct responded to a report of shots fired near 55 Bowen Street.
Upon their arrival, officers observed two injured males with gunshot wounds to the body. A 44 year old male sustained a gunshot wound to the left armpit area, and was transported to Staten Island University Hospital north where he was pronounced deceased, police said.
A 20-year-old male sustained a gunshot wound to the right leg and was transported by EMS to Richmond University Medical.
At this time, there are no arrest and the investigation is ongoing. The identification of the deceased hasn’t been released, pending a proper family notification.
