61-year-old Man Falls from Luxury Park Avenue Apartment While Cleaning Windows

July 16, 2022 | Manhattan, New York: A 61-year-old resident fell to his death out an open window Saturday morning, police said. The man was allegedly in the process of cleaning a window located at the rear of the building when the incident occurred. The resident fell from a sixth floor unit in the apartment building located at 920 Park Avenue in Manhattan.

Just before 7:00am Police from the 19th precinct and EMS responded to 911 calls of a person that fell from the luxury apartment building at 920 Park Avenue. Upon their arrival, officers observed a male unconscious and unresponsive. And the 61-year-old male was pronounced deceased by EMS.

According to police, through a preliminary investigation it was determined that the resident fell while cleaning his windows. It is unknown at this time if he was alone when the accident occurred.

The residents death is still under investigation.
