Pedestrian in Life Threatening Condition after being Struck in North Hempstead Hit-and-Run

July 14, 2022 | NASSAU COUNTY, New York: Person left with critical injuries after a driver Hit and Run in Nassau County.

At approximately 11:43pm police responded to reports of a Hit and Run where a person was struck near Grand Blvd & Union Ave in North Hempstead part of Nassau County.

According to police the striking vehicle fled the scene leaving the pedestrian with life threatening injuries.

There are no arrests at this time and the investigation into this incident is ongoing.
