July 9 2022 Brooklyn, New York – Cops shoot allegedly armed suspect in the chest after he opens fire in Brooklyn, just an hour after another police involved shooting in Queens.

Police say that the suspect fled during a traffic stop around 7:40pm in Downtown Brooklyn, fleeing on foot, a shootout happened at Flatbush Avenue and Nevins Street.

Suspect opened fire, and was shot in the chest by police officers, according to officials.

Just an hour earlier, police say they shot at a suspect in Queens, after he opened fire, following a threat to “Blow Up” the World. Just around 6pm, NYPD officers were called to 205-17 116th Avenue in Queens where they say they received a threat.
