July 6 2022 Queens, New York – A woman was shot in the chest while walking down the street in Jamaica part of Queens Wednesday night.
She was taken to local hospital where she is listed in stable condition.
The victim says that she was walking down the street, when she saw two cars shooting at each other, victim got hit in the crossfire, according to police.
According to police, a second female victim was shot in her foot and is expected to survive her injuries, it is unknown if the two shootings are connected.
Incident occured around 8 p.m. in front of 111-55 142nd Street
Preliminary report that the alleged suspects were barricaded in a nearby building at 114-34 144th st in Jamaica Queens. Police appear to have two people in custody.
