Suspect Arrested in UES Woman’s Fatal Shooting

June 29 2022 Manhattan, New York – Pix11 reported that a suspect has been taken into custody in a fatal shooting if Azsia Johnson, UES woman who was pushing a stroller near a park. Person placed in custody is father of Asia’s child, and Azsia’as Ex Boyfriend, according to officials.

A 22-year-old Isaac Argro has been arrested and charged with murder along with criminal possession of a weapon in the fatal UES shooting, police say.

The murder suspect was walked out of the 19th precinct by detectives to an awaiting jail transport vehicle.

Azsia Johnson, 20, was shot in the head while walking with her 3-month-old baby near Samuel Seabury Playground on the Upper East Side, has died. Incident occured on Lexington Avenue and E95th Street around 9pm on Wednesday evening.

The 20-year-old woman was taken to Metropolitan hospital and in life threatening condition and was later pronounced dead due to her injuries sustained during the shooting.

Friends and family held a vigil for the victim, calling an incident domestic violence.

Reports suggest that young woman was walking with a baby, when a man, wearing all black hooded sweatshirt, walked up from behind and shot her in the head. The child, presumed to be victim’s, was taken in an ambulance, uninjured.
