June 26 2022 – MANHATTAN, New York: Panic sent thousands of people running from Washington Square Park on Sunday afternoon where a large crowd was gathered after the Pride and Queer Liberation celebrations in the city.
Police made a statement that fireworks were responsible for the mass panic that had people screaming and running down streets all around the Greenwich Village park.
A report came over not long after that ambulances were requested nearby at W4th and 6th Avenue, where there were reports of multiple injured people, the details of that situation are currently unknown as its developing.
