Woman on Moped Struck by Hit and Run Driver, Left in Critical Condition

June 24, 2022 | BROOKLYN, NY: A 34-year-old woman was on a moped style scooter when she was struck by a car and critically injured after the hit-and-run collision at Lexington Ave & Throop Ave in Brooklyn.

At approximately 2:23am Police responded to reports of a collision in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn. Upon arrival officers located a seriously injured scooterist.

The wounded female sustained life threatening injuries during the hit and run and was transported by EMS to area hospital.

An NYPD collision investigation squad was requested to the scene and the incident is under investigation.
