June 22, 2022 EDGEWATER, NJ: Multiple people were shot in Edgewater, New Jersey overnight. Bergen County Sheriff’s and Edgewater PD responded to Shops at City Place on River Road for reports of shots fired and multiple people injured.
Just up the road, a security vehicle was located at a gas station near the multiple shooting and was taped off with crime scene units inspecting the vehicle. It’s unknown if the two scenes are connected.
At this time the condition and number of people involved in the shooting is unknown. This is a developing story and the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
