LES Nail Salon Hit Molotov Cocktail, Two People Injured

June 19 2022 Manhattan, New York – reports of arson by a molotov cocktail at a Nail Salon in Lower East Side. Two injured, one victim has sustained critical injuries.

At approximately 5:50 p.m. firefighters responded to calls of a arson fire at 129 Elderidge St., which boast the location as a nail salon, where upon arroval they found a critically burned female victim, according to officials.

Another victim was also said to be found a block and a half away from the original fire location at Forsyth St. and Grand St., police said.

Police said that a 46-year-old man and a 60-year-old woman have both suffered second-degree burns to their chests.


Gasoline, molotov cocktail was found at the location, according to early reports.
