Alleged Subway Stabber CAUGHT and Charged

June 12 2022 Queens, New York – Donny Ubiera has been arrested and charged with two counts of attempted murder. Police say he stabbed a 55-year-old and slashed a 62-year-old within two days on Queens ‘7’ train

It was reported to police that on Friday, June 10, 2022 at approximately 0840am, onboard a southbound ‘7’ train, a 62-year-old male was approached by a suspect that displayed a large knife. The suspect proceeded to slash the victim, unprovoked, causing lacerations to the victim’s face and right hand. The individual detrained at the Queensboro Plaza station and fled towards Queens Plaza North.

The next day, on June 11th, at approximately 0715am, on a northbound ‘7’ line platform at the 74 Street-Broadway train station, a 55-year-old male was approached by an unknown individual that displayed a large knife, police say. The suspect proceeded to stab the victim, unprovoked, in the neck before fleeing topside in an unknown direction, according to officials. EMS responded and transported the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst in critical but stable condition.

  1. He’s already out stabbing and slashing more people, right? Just making sure. Good thing he didn’t wander, unarmed, into the Capitol building on the 6th! He’d still be rotting in solitary confinement with no charges!
