31-year-old Man Stabbed on Bronx Train after Verbal Dispute

June 01, 2022 | BRONX, NY: A 31-year-old man was stabbed in the arm and seriously wounded following a verbal dispute on a Bronx train with an unidentified perpetrator. At approximately 1:09am NYPD responded to a stabbing at the E149th street & 3rd Avenue station. Upon their arrival, 40th precinct police requested additional units for a suspect search following the transit assault.

Officers at the scene confirmed a 31-year-old male victim was robbed of his personal belongings and stabbed in the right forearm. The victim was rushed by EMS Lincoln Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition. The train rider sustained a non life threatening, police said.

According to police, a male suspect was last seen fleeing the the area headed westbound on E149th Street.

At this time there has been no arrest in case and the investigation is ongoing.
