May 21, 2022 | STATEN ISLAND, NY: A male vehicle passenger was ejected and killed following a collision with a guardrail on the Korean War Veterans Parkway Saturday evening. The gravely injured male was pronounced dead at the scene, said police.
According to police, the accident occurred near Arden Avenue, on the northbound side of the Parkway. A highway collision investigation squad was requested to the scene. Police closed four lanes of the highway for a collision investigation as traffic moved at a slow roll.
The official cause of the collision and death are still under investigation.
