55-Year-Old Bronx Woman Fatally Stabbed

May 15, 2022 | BROOKLYN, NY: A woman was stabbed in the neck in Brooklyn Sunday morning. The incident occurred at 158 Van Buren street inside a Bodega.

When 79th precinct police responded to the location officers found an unresponsive 55-year-old Cynthia McLeod lying on the floor with fatal stab wounds to the neck and torso.

EMS responded to the Bodgea and pronounced the 55-year-old woman dead at the scene, police said. The victim was allegedly stabbed by boy friend 62-year-old James Brown.

Brown was arrested and has been charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
