Man Stabbed and Killed in Greenwich Village, Manhattan – Another Stabbed to Death in Queens

May 13 2022 Manhattan, New York – A 28-year-old male, Saner Abdalla was stabbed and killed in a dispute on Greenwich Village street.


The victim got into a dispute with four others on 6th Avenue and West 4th Street around 1:30 a.m. Friday night, according to police.

One of the suspects stabbed him in the body, victim was pronounced dead at Bellevue Hospital.

According to ABC7 Eyewitness News, The NYPD’s 6th District had zero homicides in all of 2021 and homicides are extremely rare in Greenwich Village area.

Same night a 58 year old man was stabbed and killed in Queens, shortly before midnight. At approximately 11:30 pm police responded to a call of an assault in progress at 10545 Horace Harding Expy. Victim who suffered a stab wound and was transported by EMS to an area hospital, was pronounced dead, according to the NYPD.

According to police, no arrests have been made as two suspects fled the scene and are currently at large.
