NYPD: Bronx Teen Shot & Killed Outside NYC Deli

May, 12, 2022 | BRONX, NY: Just after 8pm on Tuesday, May 10th, NYPD officers responded to 911 calls of shots fired at West 170 Street and Ogden Avenue. Upon their arrival, officers found 17-year-old, Jason Perez with a life-threatening gunshot wound to the chest.

According to NYPD officials, police are searching for a group of around five suspects who allegedly gunned down the Bronx teen outside of a deli & grocery. Police officials said after following Perez outside of the establishment, a dispute occurred and the 17-year-old was shot at least once in the chest.

EMS responded and rushed the teenage male to Lincoln Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.

No arrests have been made in regard to the deadly shooting and the investigation remains ongoing at this time.
