May 09, 2022 | STATEN ISLAND, NY: A 26-year-old man was shot just before 3:30 Monday afternoon and police responded to calls of shots fired at Union PI & Beach Street in Staten Island, New York. Upon police arrival, officers located a male with a gunshot wound to the back and considered to be a life threatening injury. The shooting occurred in front of Eden II Programs, a school for autistic children.
According to police, officers immediately began to perform CPR and requested an ambulance to the scene. The male victim was rushed by EMS to Richmond University Medical Center. NYPD officers canvassed the area for two men who fled the shooting in a gray BMW SUV with a New York license plate.




As of Monday evening no arrests have been made and the investigation into this shooting incident is ongoing.
