April 15, 2022 | QUEENS, NY: A member of service was injured after being shot with a BB gun early Thursday morning. Around 2:00 a.m., police from the 114th precinct responded to a call of a NYPD officer shot by a BB gun at 14-01 36th Avenue in the Ravenswood Houses.
EMS responded to evaluate the injured member of service and subsequently transported the officer to an area hospital. According to police, the injuries to the officer struck by a BB gun pellet are considered to be non life threatening.





Police on the scene also requested all available units and an ESU emergency service unit to the scene to aid in the investigation along with a suspect search.
No arrests have been made for the incident that occurred in the Astoria neighborhood of Queens and the investigation is ongoing.
