April 13, 2022 | MANHATTAN, NY: 21-year old Security Camera Technician, Zack Dahnan is being hailed a hero for alerting police to the suspects presence after Dahnan spotted Brooklyn mass shooting suspect walking in Manhattan’s East Village Wednesday afternoon. Dahnan said he tried to caution passerby’s to stay away from the suspect as he alerted nearby authorities.
After police were alerted, the suspect was apprehended and taken into custody without incident. He was taken away by 9th precinct officers.
The suspects vehicle was located yesterday evening in Brooklyn, a U-Haul van rental believed to be connected to the subway shooting attack, police said.
White truck with Arizona plates was discovered in Gravesend near Kings Highway, while the suspect is still on the loose.
Earlier today 16 people were injured in a shooting at a Brooklyn Subway station. A man in a construction type vest was seen in a gas mask, opening a cannister, filling train with smoke and proceeding to shoot at people.
April 12, 2022 | BROOKLYN, NY: According to police, possible explosive devices were located at the 36th Street station. Trains are being halted and the station was evacuated. FBI is on the scene and at least 13 gunshot victims have been reported.

During press conf, NYPD stated that a man wearing what appeared to be a gas mask, opened a cannister inside the train, filling it with smoke and started shooting people. NYPD says this is not being investigated as an act of terrorism.
