Gunman’s Uhaul Found after Subway Shooting – Suspect Search continues

The U-Haul van believed to be connected to this morning’s subway shooter mass casualty incident, was found in Brooklyn, police said.



White truck with Arizona plates was discovered in Gravesend near Kings Highway, while the suspect is still on the loose.

Earlier today 16 people were injured in a shooting at a Brooklyn Subway station. A man in a construction type vest was seen in a gas mask, opening a cannister, filling train with smoke and proceeding to shoot at people.

April 12, 2022 | BROOKLYN, NY: According to police, possible explosive devices were located at the 36th Street station. Trains are being halted and the station was evacuated. FBI is on the scene and at least 13 gunshot victims have been reported.

Multiple gunshot victims at the 36th Street station in Brooklyn. Police radio comfirmed a “mass casualty” response. Reporters headed to the scene for this developing story.

During press conf, NYPD stated that a man wearing what appeared to be a gas mask, opened a cannister inside the train, filling it with smoke and started shooting people. NYPD says this is not being investigated as an act of terrorism.
