Man Stabbed in Times Square Subway: NYPD

April 09, 2022 | MANHATTAN, NY: A man was stabbed in a Times Square subway station Saturday night and found a short time later by NYPD officers. The wounded man was stabbed in the stomach, police said.

Police discovered the male victim around 8pm at 46th Street and Seventh Avenue in Times Square part of Manhattan. The wounded male told police that he was stabbed an hour prior in the subway station, Pix11 reports. No arrests have been made and a suspect is on the loose.

The victim was treated at the scene before being transported to an area hospital by EMS. The victim is expected to survive his injuries, police said. No other information was released as the investigation into the stabbing incident remains ongoing.
