April 07, 2022 | EAST RUTHERFORD, NEW JERSEY: Just before 6:00 p.m. New Jersey police responded to multiple reports of shots fired at the American Dream Mall. According to police, one person was shot multiple times. The injured victim was able to walk into the mall, cops said. At this time, it’s unclear if the victim was targeted or the extent of their injuries.
Multiple agencies including New Jersey State Police responded to the shooting incident at 1 American Dream Wy, in East Rutherford. Police are looking for two Hispanic males that possibly fled the scene in a red Audi, one wearing a camo hat.
NJSP unit reporting that the victim was alert and transported to Hackensack Hospital. The investigation into this incident is ongoing as this is a developing story.
