“It’s very emotional for me as a human being” – Ukrainians Protest Outside Philip Morris in NYC

April 04, 2022 | MANHATTAN, NY: Ukrainian supporters held a protest outside of the international Headquarters of Philip Morris in Manhattan on Monday morning. Philip Morris being one of the companies that did not pull out of Russian market, Ukrainian supporters want people to know that if you continue to buy from these companies you’re putting profit over people. They plan to expand their campaign.

“I can tell you it’s very emotional for me as a human being and for me as a Ukrainian.” -Zgurov

“A lot of people saw yesterday, and the day before yesterday from the liberated cities around Kyiv, those dead bodies, raped children, women, prosecuted man who were simply killed just for no reason. That is horrible. I can tell you it’s very emotional for me as a human being and for me as a Ukrainian and definitely, world has to understand.”, said an emotional Arthur Zgurov, co-organizer of the rally, as he spoke about the atrocities happening in the Ukraine.

“World has to look and realize that, if that machine called Russia is not stopped, that those things will happen everywhere not only in Ukraine. Because if you watch Russian media, you will realize they are talking about nuclear war. They’re really talking about this as a case scenario, as they say a good case scenario. That’s insane. That just totally insane. This has to be stopped and has to be stopped now.”, said Zgurov.
