March 18 2022 Manhattan, New York – Famous crypto expert and ‘lifestyle guru Pierrick Jamaux was shot multiple times in the legs and groin area during an attempted robbery of his six-figure watch early Friday morning. Jamaux, a French-born cryptocurrency expert told cops that around 4:15am, a man specifically demanded his watch then shot Jamaux, as he and his wife exited an Uber, near the Fifty hotel & suits entrance, according to NYPD.
Jamaux was shot returning to the midtown Fifty Hotel & Suites at 155 East 50th Street after a night out with his 26-year-old wife Sarah Watts and an additional woman. The 33-year-old businessman was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, with multiple gunshot wounds to both legs and was listed in stable condition, police said.
The suspect who shot Jamaux Friday morning was seen on surveillance video fleeing northbound on Lexington after the shooting. At least five shell casings were recovered at the scene, police said. No arrests have been made and the investigation into this shooting incident is ongoing.
