Twin Brothers Shot Outside Their Bronx Home, One Died

March 16 2022 Bronx, New York – A 30-year-old man was shot dead and his twin brother injured, on a Tuesday afternoon, police said.

Officers responding to a 911 call reporting shots fired on East 161st Street in Concourse part of the Bronx, discovered the twin brothers with gunshot wounds. Derrick Owens was shot in the chest and died at a hospital, his twin brother was shot in the leg and is reported in stable condition.

The shooting happened after 6pm, outside of Owens’ home, said officials. Motive is unknown and no arrests had been made. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
