A Serial Killer who’s shot two homeless people, killing one, possibly strikes again in NYC on March 13, Sunday evening leaving a third homeless man shot and killed in the Tribeca neighborhood of Manhattan. The victim was pounounced dead on the scene just after 6:30pm at the intersection of Greenwich St. & Murray Street. On Sunday Officials in Washington D.C. announced that several shootings that occurred in the District of Columbia and New York City are linked. The crimes are said to have been allegedly committed by the same suspect.
Police Commissioner Keechant L. Sewell and Chief of Police Robert J. Contee, III of the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) in Washington, DC, announced Sunday that several attacks that occurred on homeless individuals in the District of Columbia and New York City have been linked to the same suspect.


Later in the evening as the investigation unfolds, we see the body removal and speak with an individual that possibly knew the victim and used to give food to the homeless man.




NYC and DC officials are currently investigating these crimes with a joint task force between the ATF and local law enforcement. Between the two cities, there have been five shootings, including three homicides.

Washington, DC offenses:
On Thursday, March 3, 2022 at approximately 4:00 am, members of the Fifth District responded to the 1100 block of New York Avenue, Northeast for the sounds of gunshots. Upon arrival, members located an adult male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
On Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at approximately 1:21 am, members of the Fifth District responded to the 1700 block of H Street, Northeast for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, members located an adult male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
On Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at approximately 2:54 am, a member of the Metropolitan Police
Department was in the area of the 400 block of New York Avenue, Northeast and observed a tent fire. DC Fire and EMS responded to the scene and extinguished the fire. Further investigation revealed the remains of an adult male which displayed no signs consistent with life and was pronounced deceased.




An autopsy by the Medical Examiner determined the cause of death was multiple stab and gunshot wounds to the body. The death was ruled a Homicide.
On Saturday, March 12, 2022, around 5am, police observed a 38-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the right forearm on King Street between Varick Street and Avenue of the Americas, in lower Manhattan. Police say that homeless man was sleeping at the location when the killer came up and shot at at him. This victim is in stable condition.




Later in the day on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at 4:56pm hours, police responded to a 911 call of a victim outside of 148 Lafayette Street, unconscious and unresponsive. Homeless unidentified male was inside of a sleeping bag in front of the Howard Street entrance of the building.
Victim suffered a gunshot wound to the head and neck. EMS responded and pronounced the male deceased on scene. Security cameras video shows an individual approaching the victim male victim, then shooting him dead.
A vigil was held Sunday afternoon for the homeless New Yorkers killed in recent attacks around the same time another homeless individual was reportedly shot in Manhattan Sunday evening. Housing rights groups gathered at Lafayette and Howard Street in lower Manhattan for a vigil following recent shooting attacks on homeless individuals to demand elected officials provide safe, affordable, and humane housing to address the housing crisis.
