Suspect on the Loose After Shooting and Killing a Man Inside Brooklyn Deli

March 10, 2022 – BROOKLYN, NY: A man was shot and critically wounded inside a Brooklyn deli, cops said. The fatal shooting occurred Thursday evening inside of St. John’s Deli & Grocery. Just before 11:30 p.m., officers from the 77th Precinct responded to 911 calls of shots fired at a bodega near St. Johns Place & Troy avenue in the Crown heights section of Brooklyn.

According to police, first responding NYPD officers located an unresponsive 30-year-old male with several gunshot wounds to the midsection. The critically wounded man was rushed by EMS to NYC Health & Hospitals-Kings County, where he was pronounced dead by hospital staff.

No arrests have been made as of Friday morning and the investigation into this shooting incident is ongoing.
