Massive Building Fire In Brooklyn

March 05, 2022 – Brooklyn, NY: Fire crews raced to extinguish an early morning fire that ripped through a three story building in Brooklyn. Firefighters responded to calls of a fire at 291 Manhattan Avenue for a three-alarm blaze. That fall for service occurred around 1:30 a.m. Saturday morning in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn.

Upon arrival fire crews observed heavy fire in the storefront of a bakery and fire could also be seen on the third floor of the three-story building. According to fire officials, three alarms were called for then blaze and fire officials advised that they stretched five lines in operation to battle multiple fires reported throughout the building.

Heavy smoke could be seen throughout the neighborhood as fire crews conducted primary searches of the structure. The fire was brought under control just before 3:30am. According to fire officials, upon completion of searches, crews did not locate anyone injured from the fire. No members of service were injured.

The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
