March 5 2022 – LVIV, Ukraine: Crowds packed the train station in Lviv on Saturday as the massive evacuation of Ukraine continues.




Refugees crowded around Red Cross tents where free food and drink were being offered.
Families could be seen overpacking their vehicles, or waiting in extremely long lines for trains and busses to Poland. Some families sat around fires in barrels to keep warm.

Temporary ceasefire started in Mariupol and Volnovakha this morning to set up humanitarian corridors.
The ceasefire was declared from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. today. The evacuation of civilians was set to begin at 11 a.m.
However in the afternoon, Russian forces shelled an empty passenger train that was set to transfer refugees and evacuation was postponed.
