March 01, 2022 LVIV, UKRAINE: Hundreds of thousands of people are fleeing their homes as Russia Attacks Ukraine. The train station in Lviv is packed beyond capacity with people attempting to get away to safety.
Some people attempting to flee are showing signs of despair. Many have been waiting several days for a better outcome. A dire situation is turning worse as some people are also now running out of food and money.
The railway station is operating with the help of volunteer workers who are also providing food and drinks to refugees.
Women with children, females who are pregnant, and the elderly get priority to board the trains crowded way past capacity. Others are forced to be separated from their families and loved ones.
Railway workers and volunteers assist people onto the train, prioritizing women with children. It’s “all hands on deck” from the staff who are working non stop to help with the overflow of refugees. Some who are assisting feeling families haven’t slept for days.
