Man Shot in Brooklyn Subway Station

February 27th, 2022 – Brooklyn, NY: A 27-yr-old man was shot Sunday evening after gunfire erupted on the Carnarsie bound platform of the L train. According to police, the shooting was a result of a dispute that occurred between two individuals.

Just before 10:30 p.m., officers from Transit District 33 responded to the call of shots fired on the platform and located the injured 27-year-old male.

The L trains were delayed in both directions as emergency crews aided the injured male who was transported by EMS to Brookdale Hospital and is currently in stable condition, police said.

NYPD requested additional units to assist in the search of a male suspect that fled the station on foot. As of Monday morning there are no arrests yet made. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
