February 20th, 2022 – North Valley Stream, NY: A man was critically injured Sunday evening during a hit-and-run incident that severed the victims leg. The male was allegedly struck by a tow truck during the incident that occurred just after 9:00 p.m. in Nassau County.
Nassau County police said, as a result of the impact, the victim did lose at least one of their legs. The critically injured male was rushed to a nearby hospital.
The driver of the tow truck did not remain at the scene and is wanted for questioning. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
