Brooklyn Woman Injured in 2-Alarm Blaze

February 19th, 2022 – East New York, Brooklyn: Just before 2:30am fire crews responded to a two-alarm apartment fire that fire crews advise to have three lines stretched to the main body of the fire on the first and second floor of the home in the East New York neighborhood of Brooklyn.

According to FDNY Officials, upon arrival fire crews observed heavy fire and smoke emanating from the 1st and 2nd floors of the building at 79 Ashford Street

Fire damage could be seen on multiple floors with flame through roof of the structure. One fire victim was removed by stretcher and placed in an ambulance with an oxygen mask.

Fire investigators are working to determine the official cause of the fire. The investigation is ongoing.
