February 11th, 2022 – Queens, NY: A man was shot just after 1:00 a.m. early Friday morning at 2-10 27th Avenue in Queens. When officers from the 114th precinct arrived they located an injured male with at least one gunshot wound to the abdomen inside of the Astoria Houses, a New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) building
The injured male was transported by EMS to an area hospital and the extent of the man’s wounds shot inside of the housing development are unknown at this time. Astoria Houses is a NYCHA building for low-income residents that is home to over three thousand people.
No arrests have been made as of Friday morning. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
