Russia Closing Wide Areas of Black and Azov Sea for Missile Exercises

As the looming threat of escalation with Russia continues, thousands of troops amass on Ukraine’s borders. Russia has been conducting missile exercise’s in areas of Black Sea and almost the entire Azov Sea.

Ukrainian Coast Guard soldiers are regularly seen patrolling and surveying the Azov Sea amid tensions along the border.

Russia’s military command warned that it would ban civil navigation between Feb. 13 and Feb. 19 to conduct naval drills exercises.
