Bronx Delivery Worker Shot and Killed During Robbery

February 07, 2022 – Bronx, NY: A delivery worker was critically wounded after sustaining at least one gunshot wound to the back Monday evening in the Bronx. Police responded to a 911 call of a shooting incident just after 10:00 p.m. at 2623 Sedgwick avenue.

Upon arrival, NYPD officers confirmed that a 39-year-old man was critically wounded and sustained at least one gunshot to the back, police said. According to police, the 39-year-old was severely wounded during a robbery and rushed by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

There are no arrests at this time. A person of interest was last seen leaving the location wearing a red hoodie and grey Jogging pants. The investigation into this shooting incident is ongoing.
