January 28, 2022 – Brooklyn, NY: Detectives in Brooklyn are searching for a group of suspects following a double stabbing outside of a Mexican restaurant that left one man dead and another injured as winter storm Kenan blanketed all five boroughs with heavy snow early Saturday morning.
A fight between 10 men was initiated inside Catrinas Mexican Grill just before 4 a.m. in the Bay Ridge neighborhood of Brooklyn. When officers arrived on the scene, they observed an unresponsive 22-year-old man with a severe stab wound to the chest laying on the ground outside of the restaurant at 7316 3rd Avenue, police said
According to police, the altercation made its way outside of the establishment and a level one mobilization was requested by first responding officers to the double stabbing scene outside of the Bay Ridge Mexican restaurant.







Both men were rushed by EMS to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn. The 22-year-old man with a stab would to the chest died from his injuries, police said. The second man injured in the stabbing incident, also 22-years-old was treated for a non-life threatening knife wound to the head.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
