January 25, 2022 – Bronx, NY: At around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday evening, police responded to a 911 call regarding a vehicle collision with injuries. First responding officers on scene located the wrecked vehicle with a 25-year-old male inside with life threatening injuries due to a gunshot wound.
According to NYPD officials, the 25-year-old individual suffered a severe gunshot wound to the chest. Police shut down the Bronx River Parkway at the number five exit and the male shooting victim was rushed by EMS to St Barnabas hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
There is no suspect information at this time. The investigation into this shooting incident is ongoing.
