CAB DRIVER STABBED during Attempted Carjacking in the Bronx

January 20 2022 – BRONX, New York: Detectives in the Bronx are searching for an individual suspected of stabbing a cab driver Thursday evening during an alleged carjacking attempt that occurred just after 9:30 p.m. at Walton Avenue and E Fordham Road.

According to police, the drivers injuries are said to be non-life-threatening. The suspect fled westbound in the stolen vehicle toward Jerome Avenue.

Police recovered the cab drivers vehicle around the corner on Morris avenue, however the suspect is still at large.

The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
