Person Stabbed in Manhattan Subway Station in Morning Attack

January 09, 2022 – Manhattan, NY: At around 9:20 a.m. police received a report of a person being assaulted and robbed at E96 St & Lexington Avenue.

According to NYPD on scene, police confirmed an assault with a knife in transit occurred at the 96th St Station in the UES neighborhood of Manhattan.

The alleged suspect fled on foot onto the tracks and is described to be a male, early 30s, height 5’7”, wearing a black coat, gray sweatpants and multicolored headwear.

The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
